Within a decade, these sturdy individuals had forged a robust new society in the crevice between the now distant fire plane and the ore-rich mountains of the new continent. The dwarves used the latent fiery magic still present in their new home to smelt rare metals into powerful weapons. They constructed vast underground cities and towering citadels that threatened to touch the void high above them.
