In the beginning there was only the omniplane, Prine. An enormous disk-shaped world floating in an endless abyss. Prine was a world rife with chaos. Powerful creatures from the Firelands fought endless bloody wars with their neighbors in the Waterlands. The races of men were in constant conflict with the inhabitants of Elysium and the horrors that lurked in The Abyss. Then came The Shattering; a cataclysm that broke Prine into eight distinct pieces. All at once the cycle of violence that had defined the plane since the dawn of time came to an end.
